Get out of your rut and onto a trail!

Like anything in life, running can get boring pretty quickly when you do the same thing day after day.  After the LA Marathon in March I found myself dreading my runs and struggling to get out the door.  I had been running a variation of the same route at least four days a week for the past five months because it was so convenient to my apartment and so easy to add miles to.  In order to keep things interesting I'm making a deliberate effort to seek out new routes that I can add to my normal routine.

I love running trails but don't run them often, so I'll be focusing my efforts on trail running first.   I hope to add new routes to this page often and welcome any suggested routes in the Los Angeles area.
